February Match Race
Team Echo are excited ahead of the first event in the 2012 calendar. This coming weekend the team of Mark Lees, Toby Yeabsley, Kelvin Matthews and Toby Mumford will be flying out to Scarlino, Italy for the February Match Race. Last year the team placed 4th at the organisation's January edition of the event and so are looking to build on their performance last year.
Season's Greetings
Looking back we've done quite a bit of sailing this year, achieved some good results and improved along the way. Our match racing has come on a lot since Scarlino in January and we're looking to continue our successes on into next year with a few events already being lined up!
Team Echo would like to thank our friends and followers for their kind support and would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year and see you on the water in 2012!

Team Echo in Europe
After a busy few weeks of racing resulting in a big increase in our world ranking Team Echo will conclude five consecutive weekends of match racing by attending the International Geneva Match Race this weekend (ISAF Grade 3) followed directly by the Master Espana Match Race starting on Tuesday (ISAF Grade 2). The team is to fly out to Geneva tomorrow for a day’s practice in the Société Nautique de Genève’s Surprise boats before the competition begins on Saturday 15th October. The team of Mark Lees, Toby Yeabsley, Mark Yeabsley and Peter Austin will then be joined by Kelvin Mathews for the Master Espana in Bayona, Spain. After the Eurosaf Open European Championships in August Spain will be Team Echo’s second Grade 2 event; we hope that what we’ve learnt over the past few weeks of intense competition has prepared us well for Spain.
